W.E.(Bill) Williams (1950-1962)
Many of you will remember Bill Williams (member of staff 1950-1962) who taught Rugby, together with Harry Bowen, having had Rugby League experience previously and played for Wales - another Welsh wizard! He passed away on 27 Dec 2007 , having taught and lived in Broadstairs, Kent, for many years, and I presume from lung cancer.
Your Hon Sec would very much like to produce an obituary for the OLA magazine (partly because he too came to the school in 1950 and mainly because Bill had such a marvellous influence in that sport), but unfortunately I cannot make contact with his daughter Rebecca as the telephone number of the Williams' house is now unobtainable. I would appreciate any guidance in making contact with Rebecca or any other family member. Please get in touch with your Hon Sec.
Thank you.
