England Captain falls to Old Boy
Michael Vaughan's plans of batting practice against Leeds/Bradford UCCE were ruined when Harry Gurney (2000-2005) dismissed him, caught behind, at the end of his first over for 0! Harry ended up with figures of 33 overs, 7 maidens, 3 for 116 - very creditable in the Yorkshire score of 500. Fergus Baker (1997-2005) was also in the wickets ending with figures of 17 overs, 2 for 75 against Somerset. Neither player was too successful with the bat - both getting out to leg spinners!
